CATA and ATAIC host joint webinar on digitalisation

CATA in collaboration with the Association of Tax Authorities of Islamic Countries (ATAIC) hosted a webinar on the topic of taxation of the digitalised economy, with an emphasis on the implementation of BEPS Pillar 1 and 2.

The event, which took place on 30th August 2022, was attended by over 150 delegates. During the webinar, the attendees were provided with an update on the Two Pillar Solution by Melinda Brown from the OECD. Prof Suranjali Tandon of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, India also gave a presentation discussing the need for a global minimum tax.
